Our Five-Step Sourcing & QA Framework
How Plantae Exports guarantees product specification conformity, pesticide MRL compliance, and cold-chain integrity from Kerala farmgates to overseas discharge ports.
Understand Buyer Specifications
Every export project begins with a granular review of the buyer’s technical sheet: required sieve size/mesh, moisture ceiling, volatile oil minimums, packaging dimensions, barcode requirements, and destination-country pesticide MRL thresholds.
- Physical grade & technical specifications review
- Destination market statutory compliance validation
- Incoterms selection (FOB Cochin, CFR, CIF)
- Packaging barrier selection (GrainPro, vacuum foil, Kraft)
Direct Farmgate & Mill Procurement
We bypass multiple tiers of speculative brokers. Procurement takes place directly with registered agricultural cooperatives, certified plantation estates in Idukki/Wayanad, and accredited coir processing mills in Alappuzha.
- Direct relationship with grower collectives
- Harvest freshness verification at farmgate
- Lot identification and farm traceability tagging
- Pre-processing inspection
Independent Laboratory Verification
Before stuffing containers, representative composite samples from every production lot undergo independent analysis at NABL-accredited laboratories. We verify compliance against European Commission, US FDA, or GCC standardization guidelines.
- Aflatoxin & Ochratoxin-A screening
- Pesticide residue multi-screen panel
- Microbiological profile (Salmonella, E. coli, Yeast/Mould)
- Heavy metals testing (Lead, Cadmium, Arsenic)
Commercial Offer & Pre-Shipment Approval
We submit formal proforma documentation alongside laboratory certificates of analysis, digital inspection photos of the actual packed lot, and container stuffing schedules. Shipments move only upon buyer sign-off.
- Comprehensive Proforma Invoice with lot numbers
- Official COA from accredited testing laboratory
- Digital high-resolution lot photography
- Vessel booking confirmation & cut-off timeline
Supervised Stuffing & Maritime Dispatch
Containers are inspected for odor, cleanliness, and structural integrity. Silica gel desiccants and container temperature data-loggers are installed where specified. Stuffing is supervised directly by our operations team at Cochin Port yards.
- Container clean-bill inspection
- ISPM-15 heat-treated pallets & container lashing
- Desiccant bag placement to prevent container rain
- High-security customs bolt sealing & B/L release
